I grew up in the Mid Atlantic, then I moved to New England. We started our family on a very modest single income budget. I had limited knowledge of the amazing opportunities around us. I poured over travel guides, websites, and word of mouth suggestions for family friendly ideas.
The pandemic further constrained our activities, but in some ways it gifted us the passion to wander a bit more. As we moved to a new state, and our family and income grew, so did the opportunities for new adventures. We found ways to make the most of our time together.
